As they expand their global reach, they are seeking a Technical Expert with significant experience in the payment industry, specifically with POS terminals. The ideal candidate will not only have a deep understanding of the payment ecosystem but also hands-on experience working with POS terminal. This role is critical in providing technical support, interpreting local payment regulations, and guiding teams in deploying terminal solutions tailored to the French market

Key Responsibilities:



  • Serve as a technical expert on POS terminals
  • Provide guidance on certification rules, specifications, and regulatory requirements for payment systems in France, with a focus on POS terminal compliance.
  • Interpret technical specifications related to POS terminals and guide teams on the implementation of compliant solutions.
  • Offer technical support to internal teams, ensuring that POS terminal solutions meet local regulatory standards and perform at the highest level.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams, with the flexibility to travel (only when necessary) to support international projects.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in POS technology and ensure that our solutions are aligned with industry best practices and market needs.



Key Qualifications:


  • Experience in the payment industry with specific expertise in POS terminals (Ingenico, Verifone, Pax, or similar vendors).
  • In-depth knowledge of French market regulations, certification standards, and technical specifications related to POS systems.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to interpret complex payment and terminal specifications.
  • Previous experience as a developer or technical software expert is a plus, particularly with POS systems.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges in terminal deployment and support.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to guide teams and work cross-functionally.
