Territory Sales Manager - Life Sciences VIC

Location: Melbourne, Victoria 

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Direct territorial responsiblity for Ansell's Life Sciences business in Victoria.
  • Primary focus on building & retaining sustainable stakeholder relationships & loyalty with key existing & new/under-developed end-users in order to achieve defined business and share objectives


RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Directly assess, analyse, prioritize, plan and executire Ansell's Life Science Strategy within Victoria in order to ahcieve defined business and share of sector objectives
  • Execution of the Channel Management program on a Regional/State level as required with Premium and Prefferred Distributor partners
  • Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and profile at site and reginal decision-making levels
  • Ensure Ansell is business-ready to maximize existing contract renewals and formulate pricing strategies and position for regional accounts
  • Identify and prioritise new business and growth opportunities
  • Plan effective join end0user engagement strategies with Distributor teams to ensure risks to business substitiuion/loss are averted
  • Accurate and timely utilization of Ansell selling technologies for reporting, lead generationa nd conversion tracking
  • Prepare territory-wide end-user call cycle plan for quarterly cycling working closely with Key Account Manager LS to ensure maximim exporusre and minimal overlap
  • Business intelligence hunting, summarizing & sharing of key market information/trends, new projects and competitive activities/initiatives generated constantly from multiple sources across site level, decision-making regional levels, distributors, and industry bodies
  • Represent Ansell and network effectively at local teritory trade show, exhibition, industry forums and reseller networks


KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Preferably Undergraduate - Business, or related fields 


Job Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Sales experience with role(s) preferably in B2B environments
  • Demonstrated selling/channel experience in the Industrial/ Life Science sector is preffered
  • Demonstrated experience in consultative selling-like methodlogies/approaches
  • Knowledge of industrial distribution networks is an advantage
  • Existing industry, end-user, reselle netowork is an advantage
  • Sound analytical skills in gathering data from multiple sources and eliciting key interpretive outcome
  • Budget & reporting skills- monitering, reporting, defining key issues and corrective strategeis
  • Negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Presentation skills
