Job description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Finance Analyst for a leading interior design firm dedicated to creating exceptional spaces that reflect our clients' unique visions. In this role, you will perform supervisory and accounting functions, focusing on accounts payable while recording and tracking all financial processes, including purchase orders, invoices, and statements, among other things.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable: Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices, initiating payment runs, and managing wire transfers.
  • Journal Entries & Reconciliation: Perform weekly bank account reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely journal entries in QuickBooks Online.
  • Financial Data Entry: Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data into the accounting system (QuickBooks Online).
  • Balance Sheet Management: Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations for inventory.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reports and other ad hoc reports as required by the firm.
  • Month-End Close: Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all month-end close procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in various facets of Accounting and Finance, including payables, receivables, disbursements, collections, and financial analysis.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with various accounting software is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and processes.
