SUPPORT SPECIALIST GEO POSITIONING

Job location: Zellik Office based in Belgium

Travels in Belgium/Luxemburg required for the job activity

Working hours – 40 per week – possible 1 day as home office

Job Purpose:

This team member shall work closely with Support leadership Belgium and Professional Services EMEA, Business Unit in a pre and post sales role for Topcon distribution partners and end users. As part of the Topcon Positioning Belgium Support team, this member will be a driving force in increasing sales of Geo-Positioning solutions through technical and application knowledge to meet or exceed financial goals set by Topcon.

Core Job Duties

  • Responsible for the daily technical support (email, phone, chat) for the Belgium/Luxemburg market with the other team members and global Professional Services colleagues.
  • Member of the Geo-positioning Training team, lead and maintain seasonable Dealer & End-user trainings
  • Support the Sales team(s), prepare technical demo’s and presentations. Work closely with Sales and Marketing staff to provide business solutions.
  • Creation of online content (Quick Guides, How-to, Notification messages); myTopcon NOW and eLearning (self-learning) courses.
  • Be the Geo-Positioning Application and Software family software Subject Matter Expert (Field, Office, Enterprise, and Online modules), keep up to date with new Geo-Positioning developments.
  • All common Professional Services activities, in line with goal settings and experience. Communicated with the team leader and/or manager. Alignment with EMEA Support colleagues. Work with European team on global goals, projects, content, and direction

Education and Experience:

  • Extensive practical knowledge of geomatics (techniques)
  • Geodesy, Survey engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or similar preferred
  • + 3 years’ experience in survey applications, vertical construction, road construction or any other infrastructure projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Troubleshooting, hands-on mindset
  • Friendly, supportive personality
  • Professional communication skills
  • Comfortable in working with various ICT systems (MS Teams, Outlook, SAP S4, various others)
  • Experience with the different phases of a construction jobsite process
  • Good in Dutch, French & English language  (Verbal & written)
