As an integral member of the CX operations team, the Services Sales Lead in Ridgeline’s Customer Experience department, you will drive the services component of the sales cycle to gather requirements, scope, and price Ridgeline implementations. You will play a critical role in enabling and accelerating SaaS subscription sales, working closely with the Business Development team to ensure success. In this role, you will participate in, shape and influence the services discovery process, ensuring that implementations align with customer needs and Ridgeline’s strategic goals. You will represent Customer Experience by participating in the services discovery sessions and collaborating with the Alliances team on partnerships for implementations. A tenacious and self-motivated individual is the key to success in this role. You’re highly organized, have a strong executive presence, and feel energized by delighting customers in the asset management industry.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with Solutions Consultants and Sales in problem-solving to support deal closure on behalf of Customer Experience
- Understand the competitive landscape and prospect needs so you can effectively position and differentiate the value of our deployment methodology and Customer Experience services
- Provide leadership and expertise in the creation, implementation, and stewardship of new processes to enhance cross-functional workflows and drive operational efficiency in services sales
- Act as an internal and external champion for Ridgeline's Customer Experience services, driving awareness and adoption throughout the sales cycle and post-sale engagements
- Cross-collaborate effectively with internal teams, such as legal, finance, and product, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction of deals
- Present the Ridgeline Customer Experience overview and conduct services engagement sessions
- Articulate Ridgeline’s product configuration and technical services, such as data migration and integration development, to prospects in the sales cycle
- Conduct sessions with prospects to determine timelines and effort to implement Ridgeline
- Effectively price implementations based on identified requirements from discovery and understand the impact of pricing on services margins across several deals
- Partner with sales to propose high level implementation timelines for deployment for each deal
- Partner with Alliances to bridge relationships with partner firms when necessary and determine when partner services are needed
- Pre-sale and post-sale, partner with sales execs and/or relationship managers for upselling of services and outsourced operational offerings
- Participate in RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs on behalf of Customer Experience
- Write, negotiate, and close Customer Experience agreements, such as Statements of Work and other contractual documentation
- Partner with Customer Experience Operations and Head of Delivery on the hand off to Consulting teams for implementation, such as project team staffing and knowledge transfer
- Maintain accurate and timely prospect, pipeline, and services forecast data
- Understand when we can slot in new implementations as it pertains to the sales pipeline and services forecast
- Provide support for services activities and events, such as our annual customer conference
Desired Skills and Experience
- 10+ years experience in business development, sales or related field experience in the asset management or financial services industries
- 5+ years experience selling to the C-suite and/or proven ability to build strong relationships with executives
- Experience managing and negotiating services agreements and other contractual documentation
- Experience presenting cloud-based solutions to both functional and technical audiences and experience with value based selling
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- You think out-of-the-box and establish credibility with your industry knowledge, product understanding, and high quality work
- You have familiarity with consultative selling methodologies and the ability to work within a collaborative environment to achieve results
- You have financial services or investment management business acumen
- You have excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation skills
- Work well across various internal and external stakeholders and personalities
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- You are a self starter with attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, concisely, and confidently

Compensation and Benefits
The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $165,000 - $190,000. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
