Job description

Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Hybrid Malta or Remote from Europe
Salary: 70-100K EUR + uncapped commission (Double OTE expected Yr 1)

The Role

Were looking for a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to lead new business growth while nurturing relationships with existing clients. You'll report directly to the leadership team, developing strategies to attract high-value partnerships, expand the company's reach, and drive revenue. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams to refine the companys product offering and represent the business at key industry events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new business, focusing on high-value opportunities.
  • Foster and manage relationships with key clients to ensure retention and growth.
  • Partner with product and sales teams to create tailored solutions for clients.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events to build connections and enhance brand presence.
  • Analyse market trends and emerging opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in business development, ideally within the payments or fintech space.
  • In-depth understanding of online payment systems, e-commerce, and related technologies.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client portfolios and develop long-term business strategies.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
