Job description

As an Assembler on the Fluke Service Tools Team you’ll assemble, test, pack, and ship, electrical test equipment that keeps the world up and running!

Primary Responsibilities

  • SIT (Service Industrial Tools) Assembler jobs require candidates to work with small hand tools and assemble small parts as well as label and package product
  • Small piece fast past Assembly in a Cell
  • Small part assembly using a microscope extensively for assembly and inspection of some products
  • Prepare, process, wind, clean, assemble, calibrate, test, solder and inspect various types of small assemblies
  • Work from prints, drawings, method sheets, diagrams, or other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures
  • Move part supplies and finished product throughout the warehouse
  • Report defective material or questionable condition to department supervisor
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow both written standard work and verbal instructions
  • Good hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills performing repetitive motions
  • Able to work independently and with others
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods on a concrete floor
  • Able to lift 30lbs
  • Able to stand for 10 hours
  • Ability to use power tools
  • Must work well with others in a loud production environment
  • Must be able to successfully complete a client specific background check
