What’s the role?
Join Zeiss Group as a Contracts Compliance Specialist (Federal), supporting government customers, related contracts lead opportunities (bids), and ensure compliance with applicable reporting requirements (e.g.: GSA). You will offer strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Support the development and analysis of available opportunities, relevant performance, and contracts compliance information. Expect to have regular interactions with Zeiss Group Business Service Legal and Compliance team. This is a fulltime, 100% remote position.

Here’s what you’ll do:
Review & execute National, State, Local government, and Institutional contracts
Manage and maintain contracts with various government and institutional entities. Ensure compliance with specific regulations and contract terms, including execution of control reports.
Facilitate internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
Prepare and review customer requests for quotations and bids
Liaison with customer contracting offices
Negotiate price, terms, and conditions. Prepare and deliver required reporting to maintain positive relationships.
Facilitate contract execution in accordance with brand values.
Administer, review, and communicate customer contract terms and conditions
Review representations and certifications master information
Ensure cohesive contract management and execution
Provide training/education/resources to involved parties about government contracts regulations when appropriate.
Provide proactive oversight and guidance to internal teams on relevant contracting issues, including interactions in bid process and FCA.
Serve as primary point-of-contact for all contracts-related topics.
Do you qualify?
Bachelor's degree.
NCMA / CFCM certification (a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Federal contract RFP/RFB, compliance, or a similar role.
Expert knowledge of GSA schedules, government contracting processes, and DFAR/FAR.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work well with people, possess a high energy level, and be flexible managing priorities.
Proficiency in Office 365.
SAP ERP (or other ERP system), experience with Salesforce CRM (or other).
The annual pay range for this position is $88,000 – $110,000.
The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
