The HR Transformation team is a core component of our Human Capital practice, and the work we do supports our clients to address their critical HR challenges. All our services cater to improving an organisation’s productivity, with employee experience being core to our focus. The client issues we work with range from the need for a comprehensive HR strategy to determining the need for new and enabling technologies, to streamlining HR operations and transforming the way HR is delivered.

You will bring expertise in at least one functional domain, and we will continue to develop you to be a market leading Functional Analyst in multiple areas across Global Human Resources, Compensation, Talent Management, Benefits, Absence, Time and Labour or Payroll, with a flexible approach and a passion for innovation, demonstrated by a commitment to supporting continuous improvement of methods and processes. You’ll work with an experienced team to support clients through implementation and operational support.

Join this fast-paced environment as you accelerate your career growth, while making a meaningful impact on client engagements.

Deloitte is dedicated to driving impactful business services to service our client’s businesses across our Technology and Transformation practice.

We work with our colleagues to design, develop, and build solutions to help clients reimagine, reshape, and rewire their businesses. Our North East team comprises systems designers, architects, and integrators to creative digital experts, and human capital professionals. All work together across a wide range of projects from advanced preconfigured solutions and methodologies to brand-building and campaign management.

These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.

Connect to your opportunity

We're looking for people who are passionate about developing an innovative career in technology, working on some of the most complex and impactful projects in the market.

You will be building your career on the evolving Oracle Cloud platform. We are seeking enthusiastic dedicated people, who want to develop a career as an Oracle functional professional. We are interested in your ability to deliver functional analysis and Oracle Cloud configuration skills, in your functional specialism.

We are keen to hear from you if you have experience of providing Oracle HCM implementation or support expertise on Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud platforms. If you have an interest in converting your HR technology implementation skills from another platform (for example, SAP Success Factors) we would like to hear from you.

This role will be based in North East England, with minimal travel requirements. The expectation is that you can travel to our Newcastle office a couple of times a month. This role does not require you to travel to client site.

Your responsibilities will be varied but could include:

  • Translating business or design objectives to technical requirements
  • Undertaking configuration in Oracle HCM Cloud and building of Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence reports for the functional area.
  • Producing client facing deliverables such as but not limited to process documentation, configuration workbooks, functional specifications.
  • Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining technology applications.
  • Helping clients transform their HR functions, through cloud technology solutions.

Explore these exciting possibilities with us, where your skills meet unparalleled opportunities.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

We are looking for adaptable professionals with strong previous experience. You know that it takes a mix of people to do amazing work, so you love collaborating with and learning from people with different skills, backgrounds, and perspectives. If you have an interesting or unusual mix of skills yourself, even better.

We place an emphasis on cultivating technical excellence. We continually invest in our employees through certifications, mentorship, learning opportunities, and skills strengthening to help our team members remain engaged, challenged, and have the tools they need to keep growing.

You must be eligible to apply and obtain UK security clearance to Security Check (SC) level, if not holding an existing clearance for this position.

We want to hear from you if any of these apply:

  • Implementation experience configuring Oracle applications to meet business requirements (in paid employment or volunteer capacity)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in a support function resolving client functional or technical issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience of managing quarterly releases and updates for Oracle HCM

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm). The recruitment team will provide further detail as you progress through the recruitment process or you can contact the Independence team upon request.
