Job Requirements: 

  • Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer, or in a similar role (2+ years preferred). Familiarity with different writing styles and formats for various platforms (web, social media, email, etc.).
  • Education: Bachelors degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required). 
  • Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong research skills to produce accurate and informative content.
  • Ability to create compelling and persuasive copy that aligns with marketing objectives. Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics and social media platforms. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using word processing and graphic design software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) and communication platforms (e.g., Slack, Zoom). 
  • Soft Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients. Ability to work independently and proactively while taking initiative.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing a variety of writing samples, demonstrating versatility and creativity.
  • Availability: Flexible availability to accommodate varying workloads and deadlines.

Core responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and persuasive content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and advertisements. 
  • Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audience, and competitors to create relevant and impactful copy.
  • Brand Voice: Understand and maintain the brands voice and tone across all written materials to ensure consistency and alignment with marketing strategies. 
  • SEO Optimization: Incorporate SEO best practices into copywriting to improve search engine rankings and enhance online visibility. 
  • Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, style, and accuracy, ensuring a polished final product. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to align copy with visual elements and overall marketing objectives. 
  • Campaign Development: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns by providing compelling copy that drives engagement and conversions. 
  • Feedback Incorporation: Receive and integrate feedback from clients and team members to refine and improve copy. 
  • Analytics Monitoring: Analyze the performance of written content using metrics and analytics tools to assess effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
  •  Adaptability: Stay updated on industry trends and adapt writing styles to suit different formats and audiences.
