Job description

Entrepreneurial CEO for Bite-On Venture.

We're building a venture that uses 3D scanning - and printing technology to make the procedure of Dental Implants quicker, more cost effective, and much more patient friendly. . 

Are you the driven entrepreneur who'll lead this Bite-On Venture as the CEO?

The invention

Implants are the best solution for patients in need of dental replacement. However, the current solution is expensive, time consuming, and not tailored to the needs of the individual patient. Bite-On has developed a solution that creates a patient-tailored dental implant. This reduces the number of procedures required to replace a tooth, and thereby the cost, and it increases the patient's comfort. With Bite-On’s technology, the implant is shaped around the patient, rather than the other way round.

The position of CEO

CEO will be responsible for developing and executing the overall business strategy, actively supported by NLC The Healthtech Venture Builder and partnering with the inventor and other strategic partners. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Fundraising (dilutive and non-dilutive)
  • Oversee product development including clinical trials, technical development and regulatory
  • Prepare and initiate the go-to-market strategy

CEO competencies and track record

You are highly motivated to make patient impact and have commercial success and are often described as;

  • Entrepreneurial
  • A connector with strong networking and influencing ability at all levels of seniority
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and negotiation skills

Your experience includes:

  • Background in Oral Care B2B proposition development, preferably in  prosthodontics,  with a relevant network
  • Experience in commercialization of Oral Care B2B products 
  • Experience in fundraising
  •  Can build a team covering the End2End business spectrum: from supply and fulfilment to (clinical) marketing, sales, service, etcetera
