We help entrepreneurs free up their time by outsourcing their everyday, routine admin work like calendar management, email, customer service, and marketing tasks like social media, digital marketing, website management, etc.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeping Assistant to support our team. The role includes recording daily transactions, maintaining financial records, performing data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliation. Additionally, the candidate will provide executive support, including calendar and inbox management. This role requires accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage financial information efficiently.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Recording: Record financial transactions accurately in the system.
  • Invoicing & Receivables: Manage invoicing and accounts receivable.
  • Expense Management: Track and categorize business expenses.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Match bank statements with financial records for accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide financial reports to aid business decisions.
  • Profit & Loss Statements: Prepare and review profit & loss reports.
  • Calendar Management: Organize meetings and appointments.
  • Email Management: Monitor and respond to emails promptly.
  • Document Preparation: Create and organize reports, presentations, and files.
  • Travel Arrangements: Plan and manage travel logistics.

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping for international clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Freshbooks, Xero, Honey book, Zoho Bookkeeping, Wave, Stripe, etc).
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of spotting and resolving discrepancies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and ability to learn essential accounting software
  • Knowledge of USA or UK accounting and taxation systems is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an executive assistant or administrative role is a plus.
