Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, DCA currently supports over 400 allied practices and supports over 900 dentists across 24 states. DCA’s allied practices represent all dental specialties and treat patients under more than 150 brand names.

 

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with intermediate to advanced skills in SQL Server development and a strong background in data warehousing and ETL processes. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and eager to expand their skill-set multiple areas including cloud technologies.  Candidate must be capable of collaborating effectively with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • SQL Server Development:
    • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, procedures and scripts.
    • Design and implement database solutions to support business requirements.
  • Data Warehousing:
    • Develop, maintain and troubleshoot data warehousing solutions.
    • Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • ETL Processes:
    • Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows.
    • Utilize SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory to automate data processing.
  • API Integration:
    • Work with APIs to integrate different systems and data sources.
  • Cloud Development:
    • Leverage (Azure) cloud technologies to build and manage scalable data solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with stakeholders and business analysts to gather requirements, understand business rules, and create comprehensive development plans.
    • Communicate effectively to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
  • Continuous Learning and Growth:
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in SQL development, data warehousing, and cloud computing.
    • Take the initiative to expand your skills, with a future focus on cloud platforms and advanced data management techniques.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in SQL Server development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality database solutions.
  • Strong experience in data warehousing, including the development and maintenance of data warehouses.
  • Proficiency in ETL processes, with hands-on experience using SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience with API integration and working with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and development, particularly in cloud computing and advanced data technologies.
