How you will make an impact
The Senior Project Manager performs a key role within Cabrini’s IT team and is primarily responsible for project delivery, engagement, and relationship development between IT, clinical and corporate service units, as well as external suppliers and customers. In this role, you will be hands on in the delivery and operationalisation of projects/initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to:
Managing the end to end delivery of projects (scope, quality, schedule, budget, procurement, quality, issues and risks) ensuring they meet or exceed stakeholder expectations and provide value
Managing project governance and compliance processes
Ensuring projects are delivered in alignment with the organisation’s enterprise architecture, strategy and project management methodologies
Developing trusted partnerships across the clinical and corporate service units, and working closely with them to analyse and understand their needs and translate them into technology solutions that align to project objectives
Share technology strategies, roadmaps and technology risks so that stakeholders can understand business impact
Reporting project progress to key stakeholders including to appropriate governance forums (e.g. project control groups and steering committees)
Supporting and promoting an environment where agility and continuous improvement is built into work practices and actively encourage agile practises, project management methodologies, tools and governance processes
Promoting strategic prioritisation, data driven decisions and ownership in the delivery of business strategy through your assigned projects
Managing resource capacity planning and allocations for work performed, to ensure the ‘go live’ and change plans are in place for benefits realisation
Managing project integration activities (including outsourced/contracted work) and associated enterprise architecture integration. This also includes the development and delivery of training associated with relevant projects
About you
The successful applicant will have exceptional customer service skills and own and take action on issues efficiently. You will also have the following:
Accredited tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
Professional certifications in Project Management
Significant experience working in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development, execution and delivery
Knowledge of project management methodologies, testing and training processes
Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment including an understanding of clinical workflows, ICT systems and health care trends (preferred)
Demonstrated experience in agile ways of working and the ability to drive adoption within a team
Strong leadership skills with ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in order to facilitate project planning and execution
Proven change management experience in a large and complex organisation
