What you’ll be doing...


The work you'll be doing is to support mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building world class solutions. Under the mentorship of a technical lead who would be supporting you on delivery, you will also work as a team member on various projects and mentor junior resources. You will help in developing test cases and certifying the End-to-End functionality for this important application.

  • Designing, developing Test Plan / Strategy documents

  • Designing/architecting a competitive test automation framework and developing new test automation libraries.

  • Automating Test Data Management.

  • Ensuring test completion on time by coordinating with all stakeholders.

  • Ensuring application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the test plan to meet release timelines.

  • Enabling AI/ML solutions through the latest tools and techniques

  • Exploring latest testing tools and to Lead technology transformation within End to End testing and providing technical guidance to team members

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for…

  • You are curious about new technologies and the possibilities they create. You enjoy the challenge of supporting applications while exploring ways to improve upon the technology. You are driven and motivated, with strong communication and analytical skills. You will be working with multiple stakeholders within wireless teams in understanding and delivering the requirements and design.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in Test Automation

  • Experience in Agile methodologies, Automation Testing/ languages like Selenium & Robot Framework, API Testing , Python, Java, UNIX, Shell Scripting and  SQL Queries

  • Expertise in building test automation frameworks

  • Experience in developing and implementing QA DevOps technologies and exposure to DevOps tools like GIT, Jenkins, Logstash, Kibana etc

  • Knowledge on Database and should be able to write SQLs and Procedures for testing needs.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently to resolve complex issues in a timely manner.

Even better if you have:

  • Patent experience and submission.  

  • Certifications in AI/Testing/Cloud/Project Management

  • Experience working in Agile teams, Agile Delivery and release management skills
