Position Overview

The IT Solution Owner for Human Resources is the primary contact for the global HR function. This individual will be responsible for HR systems architecture while also collaborating with HR counterparts to identify business requirements, design and governance. The IT Solution Owner will also deliver transformation in a continuous manner through articulating business needs and prioritizing them through IT initiatives in a seamless and efficient way. This role requires Oracle HCM implementation and maintenance experience with knowledge and understanding of a full HR technology stack. Lastly, the IT Solution Owner will drive change through leveraging internal and external HR team members, IT counterparts and expanding successfully delivered solutions.

 

What you'll do

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. (These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.)

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify business requirements for new or existing technology, then drive the implementation and continuous improvement to meet identified requirements.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining the solution architecture while collaborating with other IT teams to ensure a holistic system strategy.
  • Manage the Oracle Fusion HCM, and ADP GlobalView and Celergo solutions, plus support the global expansion of Actio Performance Management, Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System, and Onboarding System.
  • Serve as a key escalation point for major support issues affecting our customers, managing significant issues through to resolution, as well as prescribing and managing ongoing remedies.
  • Direct and indirect responsibility for delivery of solution work carried out by IT project staff/solution architects utilizing internal and external teams, and implementation partners.
  • Develop and maintain a 3-5 year roadmap that aligns with business strategies and needs.
  • Contribute to the development of the overall IT strategy by providing a solution strategy for HR.
  • Drive smarter technology investments through innovative best practices and scale up successful developments across the organization.

 

Who you are

An employee in this position, upon appointment, should have the equivalent of the following:

  • Expert HCM business acumen and experience, including integrating with other HR related solutions
  • Expert in Oracle Fusion HCM, ADP GlobalView and Celergo Payroll
  • Expert in developing and rolling out a global HCM and payroll systems
  • Expert in process design and modeling and IT strategic planning skills 
  • Expert business process analysis and systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change
  • Solid knowledge of Greenhouse ATS, or similar applicant tracking systems; EMP Trust, or similar Onboarding systems
  • Solid consulting skills (e.g. communication, facilitation, interviewing, negotiation, collaborative working)
  • Solid organization skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple, complex projects simultaneously
  • Solid project management skills (tools, techniques and processes)
  • Solid knowledge of IT vendor strategies 
    • Experience managing multiple suppliers and partners simultaneously for a given program.
  • Solid Knowledge of IT design, testing, and documentation methodologies (Agile, ITIL, etc.)
  • Exposure to other HCM platforms like UKG, Workday, Success Factors; Actio Performance Management; SABA Learning
  • University degree or equivalent. 
  • 5+ years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments, platforms, and business segments.
  • Substantial experience of working with senior level, decision making executives and their teams. High technical acumen on SDLC processes and governance of Oracle solutions.
  • Experience in working on large project implementations on Oracle.
