  1. Take it to Heart
  2. Practice Considerate Communication
  3. Act Humbly and Confidently
  4. Collaborate with Bias to Action
  5. Be Beyond Litmus

**This is a remote role with strong preference for candidates who have home offices in the New England area.**

What would I do at Litmus?

In this pivotal role, you will lead the Deal Desk function within the Accounting team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Accounting. Your primary responsibility will be to drive initiatives that meet the organization’s needs by providing expert quoting and deal structure support, establishing scalable and efficient policies and processes, and regularly reviewing and reporting on deal-making and sales activities. Your impact will be amplified by your subject-matter expertise in Salesforce CPQ and project management, enabling you to closely partner with cross-functional teams, make data-driven decisions, and assist Sales and Account Management teams in effectively closing business.

In this role you will:

  • Own the Quote-to-Cash process, optimizing Salesforce CPQ efficiencies and managing Sage Intacct and Zuora billing
  • Lead the Deal Desk team in a player/coach role, utilizing project management skills to foster team cohesion and drive results
  • Review and approve sales contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and pricing guidelines
  • Provide strategic pricing and contract structuring guidance to the sales team, leveraging Salesforce CPQ expertise
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and sales teams to resolve contract issues and expedite deal closures
  • Enhance sales processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness across the organization
  • Implement and manage CRM tools to ensure data accuracy and accessibility, focusing on Salesforce CPQ functionalities
  • Monitor key sales metrics and generate reports to offer insights into performance
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting

What is Litmus looking for in a candidate?

  • Seasoned professional with Deal Desk, Finance, or Revenue experience; SaaS industry experience preferred
  • Expertise in Salesforce CPQ to drive efficiencies and support sales strategies
  • Proven project management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong negotiation and prioritization abilities, with attention to detail and capacity to work under tight deadlines
  • Effective communicator and collaborator across departments
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven, focused on continuous improvement
  • Proficient in CRM systems and billing software, preferably SFDC and Sage Intacct
  • Excellent analytical skills for interpreting complex data to inform decision-making
  • Understanding of ASC 606 and legal contract review

Why should I choose Litmus?

  • We offer everything you'd expect from a profitable company that's been going strong for 10+ years, including a great salary and stock options, comprehensive health care benefits, and a generous retirement plan match
  • You'll receive 28 days of paid vacation—on top of team retreats and public holidays
  • A platform for good: Affinity Groups, a culture of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and volunteer days—creating belonging for all is in our DNA both inside and outside of work
  • Remote-first culture. No matter where you are, you'll feel connected to the team
  • We take family seriously and offer flexible schedules and generous parental leave programs
  • We give you great tools and tech to do your best work: Hardware, software, and home-office setups

Not sure if you meet all the requirements? Please apply! We know there is no job description that can measure a person's attitude, aptitude, or amplitude (the ability to turn it up a notch) and highly encourage you to apply.

Our approach is shaped by a strong respect for each individual. This applies to every aspect of employment—from equitable wages, work-life balance, the freedom to be your whole self, to equal opportunities for growth and development at Litmus.
