About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced audio editor to refine and enhance two dance competition songs. The client has already performed basic edits, including tempo adjustments and length modifications. Now, they require expert assistance to elevate the audio quality, fine-tune timing, and improve transitions. This short-term, remote project requires immediate attention and offers a quick turnaround opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess the current state of two pre-edited dance competition tracks
  • Enhance overall audio quality to ensure optimal sound for performance
  • Clean up and refine timing issues within the tracks
  • Improve and smooth out transitions between song sections

Requirements

  • Proven experience in audio editing, particularly with music for dance or performance
  • Strong proficiency in professional audio editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live)
  • Understanding of music theory and rhythm, especially as it relates to dance
  • Ability to enhance audio quality and clean up tracks effectively
  • Skilled at creating seamless transitions and adjusting timing in music
