SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Location: Remote or the DMV area
Status: Full-time Contractor (Can include nights/weekends)
Salary: NEGOTIABLE

Position Summary

Tina Boyd & Associates (TB&A) is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our exciting, fast-paced team. Our creative team works in collaboration with account staff to create smart, eye-catching designs for websites, reports, public outreach materials, etc. If you have an exacting eye, finesse for details, and hit your stride when the turnaround is tight, then please read on!
This position is full-time. Due to the nature of our work, this position can entail work beyond normal business hours. The position is remote with the possibility of being in an office if preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

• Create dynamic, thoughtful, and persuasive visuals.
• Collaborate with clients in a positive and professional manner.
• Implement feedback resulting in the best solution.
• Prepare print-ready files that abide by industry best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 5-10 years of experience as a graphic designer in an agency environment.
• Portfolio of dynamic, conceptual work.
• Demonstrated knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience with creating print-ready files.
• A sense of ownership and responsibility over your work product.
• Comfort and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment under set deadlines, even while working remotely.

The following are not required but are a plus:

• Experience in designing direct mail
• Illustration skills
• Experience working with Dropbox, Microsoft Teams and Smartsheet
