As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll have the opportunity to build products, platforms, and features that empower schools and school leaders to highlight their strengths and give the best opportunities to their students.
What You’ll DoCollaborate with a SCRUM team, including front-end engineers, Ruby on Rails engineers, and Product OwnersContribute to the architecture of the front-end stack, ensuring high standards for code quality, performance, security and maintainabilityDesign and implement efficient, reusable and scalable front-end components using Vue.jsMentor and guide other members of the team through code reviews, technical guidance and best practicesEvaluate designs, suggest UI/UX improvements, and enhance the overall user experienceCreate clear, comprehensive documentation in collaboration with Product teamsPartner closely with Product Managers and Engineering leadership, including the CTO and VPsWho You AreBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred; alternatively, 6+ years of experience building successful products and platforms on an engineering team without a technical degreeA strong academic and professional track record of achievements6–7+ years of experience with JavaScript and ES6+Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or AngularExperience with raw CSS and CSS frameworksHands-on experience writing tests to ensure code quality and reliabilityProven experience working collaboratively on an engineering teamWhy You'll Love Working With Us
