Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary:       Administrator works directly with an experienced account manager who has an assigned block of business. This position requires excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving ability. The position requires the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and the ability to work as part of a team, while independently managing accounts with minimal required supervision. Excellent communication skills and a full understanding of the importance of customer service is a must      

Responsibilities:

  • Launches the annual Pension Pro Year-end Data Request projects
  • Assists clients with on obtaining census data and asset data, then downloads into pension software program and prints valuation for Account Manager to complete
  • Follow-up work on census and asset data
  • Prepares Form 5500 for Account Manager to review
  • Invite client to electronically sign 5500 form
  • Posts valuation report on Pension Pro
  • Handles any projects Account Manager needs assistance with
  • Prepares and process 70 1/2 (RMD’s) distributions
  • Prepares 1099r forms for brokerage accounts
  • Deposits rollover checks and follow-up on pending monies on Nationwide suspense report 
  • Daily Phone Calls and Emails from Participants 
  • Work Includes:  Hardship withdrawals, in-service distributions, termination distributions, retiree distributions, 30 day force outs, and loans
    • Receive termination notification from Sponsor or Payroll Company or Participant calls to request forms
    • Mail or Email forms to participant within allotted time (30 Day Force Out if Applicable)
    • Obtaining signature from participant
    • Follow-up work with client, participant and fund house
    • Processes paperwork at fund house
    • Takes numerous inquiries daily on status of payouts.  Strict call back time of 24 hours

Requirements:  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • College degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of work experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications/software
  • Excellent math skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Provide a high level of service to clients
