AI Data Analyst - Part Time Temporary

Job Description

SS&C Intralinks is looking for a Temporary Data Analyst to advance our data preparation and labeling efforts in support of AI product initiatives. This role will engage with both engineering and product management teams as we build AI product functionality for products within SS&C Intralinks’ Alternative Investments business. The SS&C Intralinks Alternative Investments business supports private capital and hedge fund firms. Our objective is to provide solutions that help clients improve their investor communication/reporting, investor onboarding and fund marketing efforts as well as support their private capital M&A activities.

The Intralinks Alternative Investments business is a strategic growth lever for the company with industry leading and innovative products. In this role, you will be part of our efforts to leverage the latest in AI innovation to enable greater productivity for our customers.

 You will be using your knowledge of financial statements to help with data preparation, classification and labeling efforts for AI model research and training.  This role lies at a unique intersection of business analysis, product management and data science as it applies to the financial services industry and may provide a pathway to career advancement along one of those directions.   Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to fast paced AI driven innovation as part of a highly collaborative team of stakeholders.

Day to Day: 

• Partner with product management to understand, scope and deliver on data preparation needs.
• Identify, classify and label data and content within financial documents for AI model training.
• Use tools created by AI engineering team as well as Intralinks products to prepare and validate alternative investments data.
• Document and communicate progress of activity across different projects with internal stakeholders.
   

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 2 years completion towards a Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science or business, or in MBA program (a plus) 
• Detail oriented with analytical and problem solving skills.
• Basic familiarity with financial statements. 
• Basic familiarity with AI and data analysis.
