Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough annual assessments of ACORD insurance forms to ensure compliance with lender and investor mandates, alongside continuous compliance monitoring.
  • Engage with insurance agents through phone and email communication to adjust coverage as necessary or submit insurance waiver requests to commercial lenders and investors.
  • Create and document comprehensive insurance review reports for clients using specialized report-development software.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in our system regarding insurance policy statuses and requirements.
  • Actively communicate with clients, borrowers, or insurance agents to resolve any insurance-related discrepancies or issues.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve insurance-related matters efficiently.
  • Participate in peer-to-peer quality reviews and assist with special projects as designated.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in property & casualty insurance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Commercial Insurance Coverage, including Property (Flood, Wind, Earthquake, Terrorism), General, and Umbrella/Excess Liability Insurance.
  • Experience in legal document examination and interpretation.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and effective time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in insurance, finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant insurance certification or designation.
  • Experience in commercial loan servicing.
  • Background in a commercial insurance agency or carrier.
