Your missions

Job Overview

As an IT Audit Consultant specializing in Financial Services, you will be instrumental in delivering insightful IT advisory solutions to a diverse clientele. Your focus will encompass internal controls, risk management, and adherence to essential compliance frameworks such as Sarbanes-Oxley, FISCAM, FISMA, NIST, and COBIT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct confidential and sophisticated technology and operational audits under the guidance of audit leadership and management.
  • Spearhead initiatives aimed at monitoring compliance with control objectives across IT, analyzing existing controls, identifying process inefficiencies, and recommending enhancements.
  • Perform thorough reviews of system control narratives, maintenance work papers, and associated documentation within stipulated timelines.
  • Assess IT general controls, financial controls, application controls, and baseline testing to uncover opportunities for risk mitigation and operational improvements.
  • Generate high-quality documentation that effectively communicates audit findings, including evaluations of the effectiveness of controls and processes.
  • Utilize sound judgment in appraising audit results and formulating remediation strategies for identified control deficiencies.
  • Evaluate risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance, assessing both manual and automated processes, and pinpointing vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in IT compliance and auditing methodologies, preferably within a Big 4 firm or an internal audit environment.
  • Competence in audit program development, business process documentation, and internal controls testing.
  • Strong familiarity with IT General Computer Controls, covering areas such as Information Security, Vendor Management, Business Continuity, Networks, Database Management, and Application Development.
  • Previous experience in FINTECH and digital banking contexts is advantageous.
  • Background in business process analysis and re-engineering.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is essential (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in IT compliance and auditing principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
