As a pivotal member of our Ecosystem & Operational Risk group, specifically within the Payment Fraud Disruption team, you will be instrumental in developing advanced risk and fraud detection applications and services. Your contributions will directly enhance the safety and integrity of our payment ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant specializing in Machine Learning, you will:
- Design and develop cutting-edge fraud detection solutions within an agile framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Translate complex business challenges into technical data problems while closely collaborating with product stakeholders.
- Collaborate with software engineers to confirm the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
- Experiment with both in-house and third-party datasets to validate hypotheses and create necessary data transformations on both structured and unstructured data.
- Explore various modeling and scoring algorithms, creating custom algorithms and utilizing packaged tools derived from machine learning and statistical techniques.
- Implement adaptive learning strategies, model validation processes, and performance monitoring methods to ensure optimal functionality of models in production.
- Mentor and instruct fellow Machine Learning scientists, sharing your expertise on key solutions.
- Effectively communicate technical solutions and project updates in clear, business-friendly language to ensure stakeholder alignment.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Stream Computing, and MLOps.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Perl, Java, Scala, and/or Unix/Linux scripting.
- Significant experience with data extraction and aggregation tools, such as SAS, SQL, and Hive.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark, as well as deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow.
- Proven experience in developing large-scale, enterprise-level distributed systems focusing on high availability and low latency.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with an Advanced degree (Master's, MBA, JD, MD), or 2+ years with a PhD.
- Preferred: 9+ years with a Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years with an Advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.

Compensation And Benefits
