Position Overview

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for leadership and client success? We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our client delivery team, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. In this role, you will guide and mentor a talented team, manage client relationships, and oversee key accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership and Team Management: Create and share a compelling vision for our client delivery team based on Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) principles. Mentor Senior Accountants, Staff Accountants, and Bookkeepers, facilitating their professional growth.
  • Client Relationships and Quality Control: Foster strong client relationships with a focus on achieving high satisfaction levels. Maintain rigorous quality control standards for client deliverables and address inquiries related to reporting, strategy, and taxes.
  • Tax Planning and Preparation: Oversee the preparation and review of business and individual tax returns, develop tax projections, and address client tax notices. Prepare tax planning documents for personal and corporate clients, and update payroll settings as needed.
  • Performance Monitoring and Compliance: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Advisory and Analysis Services: Provide monthly or quarterly advisory services, offering recommendations on organizational and compensation structures, and assisting with entity formation and employee incentives. Support clients with government programs and grant opportunities.
  • Leadership Contribution: Participate as an integral member of the Leadership team, contributing to company-wide decisions, implementing processes, and reviewing potential new hires.

Additional Details

  • Role: Full-time, remote with a flexible schedule and comprehensive benefits.
  • Experience: Public accounting experience is highly preferred; familiarity with Xero software is a plus. Knowledge of EOS is beneficial.
  • Team: Manage a team of approximately 12, including 3-4 Senior Accountants.
  • Software: Tax software used is Ultratax; currently, Onvio is the tax organizer, with Canopy as the upcoming replacement.
