Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding service to customers regarding their retirement savings accounts.
  • Educate and empower clients without the pressure of sales or cold calling.
  • Communicate essential updates and changes regarding their plans.
  • Process requests for contribution changes, loans, and withdrawals efficiently.
  • Manage account changes based on customer instructions.
  • Take advantage of the opportunity to train for and obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses.

Required Skills

  • A strong customer service orientation and a genuine passion for assisting others.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills to engage effectively with clients.
  • Attention to detail when managing financial transactions and account changes.
  • Ability to adapt communication styles to cater to a diverse client base.
  • A willingness to learn and apply financial industry policies and procedures.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with flexibility outside traditional hours (Monday to Friday) and occasional Saturdays.
  • An associate degree or higher, combined with at least one year of customer service experience in fields such as food service, retail, hospitality, teaching, military, or banking, or two years of customer service experience.
  • Openness to working overtime as required.
