Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our esteemed financial team on a remote basis. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting the Naval Systems Engineering and Logistics Directorate (SEA 05) at the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, D.C. Your contributions will be essential in the areas of financial planning, in-depth analysis, and management reporting, allowing you to advance your professional skills while working on innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead financial planning and forecasting initiatives.
• Lead and conduct complex financial analysis projects and statistical evaluations.
• Oversee monthly reporting processes to deliver critical financial insights and management reports.
• Collaborate in defining project objectives and develop comprehensive plans, schedules, cost estimates, and budgets to ensure project success.
• Provide expert guidance on investment opportunities and project decisions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience; alternatively, 18 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Preferred: Familiarity with the US Navy through active duty, civilian roles, or support contracting is highly advantageous.
• Preferred: Experience working alongside US Navy Program Managers in an analytical capacity.
