We seek passionate Adjunct Instructors for the Fall 2024 semester to teach various Biology courses. Our commitment to holistic student services ensures that you will play a vital role in the educational journeys of approximately 18,000 students each year.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction in Biology courses, including:
• BIO 105: Introduction to Biology
• BIO 108: Human Biology / Lab
• BIO 203: Anatomy / Physiology I / Lab
• BIO 204: Anatomy / Physiology II / Lab
• BIO 205: Microbiology / Lab
• Facilitate a supportive remote learning environment that encourages student participation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students pursuing careers in laboratory science and related disciplines.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty and staff to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
  

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively convey complex biological concepts to diverse learners.
• Experience in adapting teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles, particularly in a remote setting.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree or higher in Biology or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience teaching Biology at the collegiate level; preference for those with community college teaching experience.
• A demonstrated commitment to engaging with diverse faculty, staff, and student populations.

Compensation

• Salary: $1,397 per credit hour.
