Job Overview

Join our esteemed legal team as an Experienced Family Law Paralegal in a dynamic remote work environment. We are on the lookout for a committed professional who is passionate about family law and eager to contribute to a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, file, and serve routine legal pleadings, documents, and correspondence.
  • Assist in creating discovery requests, including deposition notices, subpoenas, interrogatories, and requests for admission.
  • Utilize FamilySoft and SupportCalc for drafting pleadings and executing child support calculations.
  • Manage case files, billing, and client expense tracking through Clio.
  • Contribute to the preparation of trial materials, including ER 904 Notices, Witness and Exhibit Lists, Joint Statements of Evidence, and motions in limine.
  • Aid the attorney in responding to interrogatories and production requests.
  • Perform additional assignments as required by the attorney.

Required Skills

  • 5-9 years of experience as a family law paralegal, particularly in case management.
  • Knowledge of local court rules in King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties.
  • Familiarity with RCW Title 26.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines autonomously.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to take direction effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with FamilySoft, SupportCalc, and Clio is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to challenges.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and possessing a strong work ethic.
  • Positive demeanor and a sense of humor while delivering superior service to clients and colleagues.
