Job Title: Senior Commercial Credit Analyst - Capital Markets

Location: Hybrid remote position based in Columbia, SC 29201 (Relocation required prior to employment)

Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour day shift

Pay Range: \(20.27 - \)24.42 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess commercial loan investment opportunities focused on middle market and capital markets transactions.
  • Independently analyze intricate credit scenarios and commercial loan packages.
  • Develop and deliver detailed credit memos for approval committees.
  • Authorize loans within designated authority limits.
  • Facilitate the loan syndication process by providing relevant information to potential participants, responding to inquiries, and monitoring approvals for allocations.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of assigned industry sectors.
  • Lead critical projects and mentor new team members.
  • Participate in lender meetings and foster relationships with banking groups and clients.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial credit underwriting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial accounting principles.
  • Proficient quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Aptitude for working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to relocating to Columbia, SC before commencing employment.
