Senior Audit Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Audit Accountant to propel your career within our dynamic franchise operation, which currently boasts 13 locations. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to manage critical financial and administrative functions while contributing to our ongoing growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and record accounting entries in the general ledger.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and verify daily store sales and deposit activities.
• Oversee accounts payable and facilitate the monthly financial close process and reporting.
• Provide essential support for auditors as required.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
  
  

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks Pro Plus 2023.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Sage Intaact.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with banking systems and cash management.
• Experience in the quick-serve restaurant industry is advantageous.
