Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Managing Audit Director to join our esteemed organization in a fully remote capacity. This is a unique opportunity to lead our audit function while collaborating with the Executive Team and Senior Management to uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Audit team, promoting effective communication and collaboration among staff and clients.
  • Mentor team members through strategic recruitment, assignment planning, and development initiatives.
  • Oversee the risk management of accounting records and processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards across all audit engagements.
  • Direct multiple audit projects, delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate resource integration for optimal execution, proactively mitigating risks through advanced analytics.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients to identify business development opportunities and enhance revenue.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent networking and customer service skills, with a proven track record in negotiation.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software, including QuickBooks or equivalent tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public accounting is essential.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.
