Summary of the role:

As a Senior QA Engineer in our team, you’ll be expected to:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute testing strategies and plans

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium/Java

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for Rest API

• Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and ensure data accuracy

• Apply Safe/Scrum principles to ensure quality is built into the software development process

• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and defect reports

• Work closely with developers to identify and resolve defects, as well as to prevent defects through code review and unit testing

• Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve the quality of the software products

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools

About the ideal candidate:

To succeed in your new role, you’re required to have relevant experience in the following areas:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Previous work experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.

• Strong experience in Selenium/Java, Rest API, SQL, OpenShift, and Safe/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with test management tools, such as JIRA or Zephyr.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

• Fluent in English

• ISTQB or similar certificate would be considered as a plus
