Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

    • This position is part of the “front-end” capture teams and is responsible for proactively engaging with the Capture Team to provide all necessary inputs form supply chain for the proposal effort. This individual participates in milestone reviews and is instrumental in leading the Supply Chain Milestone Reviews. The individual will be assisting with strategic direction on all proposals for supply chain through recommendations of strategic suppliers, existing/new suppliers, and potential as a service offering suggestions. The individual will be working in a fast-paced environment under the functional guidance of the Supply Chain Sr. Mgr. Will provide support, recommendations and coordinate closely within a matrixed organization to develop competitive solutions for V2X proposals.
Key Responsibilities:

      • Performs Supply Chain support to Growth (Business Development / Capture) for pre-award actions in preparation for a response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) by the US Government (USG) or other Customers.
      • Assists with the qualification of suppliers, establishes Non-Disclosure Agreements, performs Commerciality Determinations, and develops/assists with negotiation of Teaming Agreements.
      • Reviews the USG’s RFP and Performance Work Statement (PWS) and, in conjunction with Sections L and M of the solicitation, issues multiple, compliant RFPs or Requests for Quotes (RFQs) including appropriate clauses, terms and conditions, and subcontractor representations and certifications. Reviews and/or assists with Statements of Work for the solicitations.
      • Monitors responses and assists in the evaluation of RFP/RFQ proposals. Performs price and/or cost analysis to review with customers and documents price reasonableness of the offer.
      • Participates in meetings to report progress and collaborate with the Proposal Team. Participates in color team reviews upon request.
      • Maintains compliant, digital files on SharePoint sites for Business Development and Supply Chain in accordance with Corporate Purchasing Manual, established procedures, and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines.
      • Assists and supports Supply Chain response(s) to Evaluation Notices as a result of proposal submissions and monitors teammate/subcontractor proposal validity.
      • Discusses internal and external issues with teams, assists in the development of best practices, and makes recommendations to management on subcontract issues.
      • Solves problems drawing upon knowledge and coordinates with other functional areas on matters related to Subcontracting.
      • 20-25 % potential travel
      • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Education:
      • BS/BA degree.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of three (3) years' specialized experience relating to supply chain, strategic sourcing, subcontracting, purchasing or contract administration.
      • Shall have a thorough working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, (FAR), DoD FAR Supplement, and other departmental supplements as applicable.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Hybrid position consisting of in-office work whenever necessary for program purposes or directed by management; otherwise, remote support is allowable
      • Normal coverage ~8:00a to 5:00p local time Monday through Friday but additional hours may need to be worked to support program requirements.
      • US citizenship required.

    • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
      • USD $ 55,000 - 95,000
    • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
