Job Title: Field Sales Executive - Business Development - Remote | WFH

About The Position

We are on the lookout for a proactive and results-oriented Field Sales Executive to join our dynamic organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for spearheading customer acquisition and driving revenue growth in both the public sector (SLED) and commercial markets across Missouri. Your innovative strategies will play a crucial role in penetrating the territory, surpassing revenue objectives, and fostering a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive strategies for territory penetration aimed at acquiring new customers and enhancing revenue.
  • Assess and qualify prospects from various internal and external sources, directing viable leads to the sales team based on established criteria.
  • Conduct engaging in-person meetings with potential clients to effectively communicate our solutions and value propositions.
  • Actively represent our brand at industry conferences, trade shows, and events to cultivate new customer relationships.
  • Design and present customized pricing solutions tailored for high-growth commercial clients.
  • Leverage educational contracts and partnerships to expand our footprint in the education sector.
  • Facilitate a smooth transition for new customers to the account management team.
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis while maintaining accurate records in our CRM system.
  • Pursue continuous professional development by embracing feedback and coaching from management and colleagues.
  • Promote a collaborative and positive team culture by sharing experiences, building trust, and leading by example.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and fellow team members to drive revenue growth beyond conventional office supplies.
  • Advocate for our company's values, services, and product features, emphasizing their benefits.
  • Consolidate existing business from competitors and cultivate trusted advisor relationships with key accounts.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of field sales experience is essential.
  • Preferred: At least 6 months of relevant experience in the public sector market.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in business development is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the state of Missouri.
