2020 Companies is now hiring a full-time remote Data Quality Assurance Analyst

The Data Quality Assurance Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data flowing through our systems which is ultimately used for critical internal and external reporting. This individual will collaborate closely with the I/S and business analytics teams to implement and maintain robust data quality processes, identify and resolve data discrepancies, and contribute to a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Data Quality Assurance:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive data quality assurance processes, including data profiling, data validation, and data cleansing.

  • Collaborate with I/S and business analytics teams to establish data quality standards, metrics, and KPIs.

  • Conduct regular data audits and assessments to identify and address data quality issues.

  • Develop and execute test cases to ensure data accuracy throughout the data lifecycle.

  • Monitor data ingestion, calculations, manipulation, and outputs within Salesforce to ensure data integrity.

  • Work with stakeholders to define and implement data quality improvement initiatives.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

  • Generate reports and visualizations to communicate data quality findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with business users to understand data requirements and ensure data quality meets their needs.

  • Support the development of data-quality dashboards and scorecards.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with I/S, business analytics, and other key stakeholders.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams to promote data quality awareness and best practices.

  • Provide training and support to users on data quality processes and tools.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in data quality management.

  • Research and evaluate new data quality tools and technologies.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in data quality assurance or a related role.

  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred.

  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is recommended.
