Senior IT Compliance Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Compliance Analyst to join our team. This role will primarily focus on disaster recovery planning and execution (75%) and ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) (25%). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT compliance, disaster recovery, and SOX regulations.

Job Responsibilities
Disaster Recovery (75%):
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems and processes.
- Coordinate and lead disaster recovery testing and drills to ensure preparedness.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure disaster recovery plans are integrated with business impact analysis.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for disaster recovery.
- Support audit and regulatory requirements for disaster recovery.
SOX Compliance (25%):
- Assist in the development and maintenance of IT controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT controls to identify and mitigate risks.
- Work with internal and external auditors to provide evidence of compliance with SOX controls.
- Document and report on the status of IT controls and assist in remediation efforts.
- Provide training and guidance to IT staff on SOX compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT compliance, with a focus on disaster recovery and/or SOX.
- Strong knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Familiarity with SOX regulations and IT control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CBCP) are a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with risk management, disaster recovery and or SOX tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for disaster recovery and IT compliance.
- Experience with cloud environments, replication and backup tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
