We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sourcing Contractor to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring effective problem-solving, contract negotiation, and vendor management. Key Responsibilities

  • Quotes and Proposal Analysis: Review and analyze quotes and proposals to identify the best options for the company.
  • Vendor Contract Reviews: Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts, including SaaS and Professional Services, ensuring terms meet company needs.
  • Contract and Subscription Management: Track and manage renewals for contracts and subscriptions to ensure continuity and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to support sourcing decisions and procurement strategies.
  • Research: Perform self-led research to identify potential vendors and solutions.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate with vendors and internal stakeholders to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Category Expertise: Apply knowledge and experience in various categories, with a focus on SaaS, Marketing, and Professional Services.

Requirements

  • Education: BS/BA in Business or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to assess required resources and manage critical path timelines for projects, with a focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Contract Negotiation: Proven experience in negotiating vendor contracts and managing procurement agreements.
  • Procurement Policies: Ability to understand, implement, and operate within procurement policies and procedures.
  • Commercial Contracts: Knowledge of commercial contracts, basic legal terminology, and cost analysis.
  • Supplier Assessment: Skilled in assessing supplier performance and recommending performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of general accounting principles, Return On Investment (ROI), and Total Cost of Ownership (TOC).
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Multitasking: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with moderate supervision.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, passionate, and takes pride in their work.
