We are currently looking for a Content Marketing Manager (m/f/d) to join our UK LIBF marketing team. This is a 2 year fixed position. The role is remote within the UK. Additionally, you will have the chance to attend occasional in-person meetings in London and Germany.

Your tasks

  • Plan customer journeys that ensure consistent, targeted, and engaging content delivery across all channels, including web, email, and paid media, to enhance audience engagement and drive conversions
  • Use creative ideas and copywriting abilities to write engaging and persuasive marketing content for a variety of communications channels that encourages audiences to progress in the customer journey
  • Manage a holistic content calendar and deliver, either personally or via supporting teams, content through key marketing channels such as web, email, SMS, and paid advertising - always ensuring brand consistency, timely delivery and best practice for each channel in mind
  • Contribute copy and scripts for the creation of visual and other assets utilising tools and managing internal design teams to enable the full delivery of your content
  • Together with experts in other internal teams and fellow team members, understand data and utilise systems to deliver your communications
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring production matches the guidelines, tone and regulatory requirements of the brand and countries. Input into brand evolution to improve market fit and results
  • Embrace a test-and-learn approach and evaluate the impact of new content initiatives through clearly defined hypotheses and measures of success
  • Proactively investigate user feedback and behavioural data to understand prospective student needs and deliver new initiatives from these insights

Your Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience in a comparable writing, content creation and/or marketing position ideally managing multiple brands and preferably (but not essentially) within a startup environment
  • A successfully completed university degree related to Marketing, Management, English language or Linguistics, Communication, Creative Writing or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English which enable you to take complex ideas and turn them into simple and engaging prose for customers
  • Experience of using common tools for content evaluation and delivery such as CMS, CRM, Marketing Automation, Analytics tools etc.
  • Experience in user centered content design and a good understanding of how you can improve content accessibility
  • A good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Search Engine Advertising (SEA), social media and other paid and organic channels
  • Speed and efficient processes in an agile project environment are just as important to you as they are to us
  • You are highly proactive, have a growth mindset, love to innovate, challenge the norm and put a theory to the test
