Job description

Your missions

We are looking for an experienced Head of Cyber Security who will report directly to the CTO and oversee the cybersecurity operations and strategy, ensuring the highest standards of security for our organization.

This position is available immediately in full-time (40hrs./week) within Germany or UK remotely or at one of our office locations.

Responsibilities

Define and implement a cybersecurity strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
Lead and mentor a cybersecurity team, promoting a collaborative and high-performing culture that emphasizes impact over policies.
Drive the adoption of cybersecurity best practices and policies, adjusting for emerging threats and promoting security awareness across all departments at IU.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to secure early support and commitment for security initiatives across the organization.
Integrate security measures into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure with DevOps and IT teams, promoting a DevSecOps approach.
Enhance team efficiency and effectiveness by implementing Agile methodologies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality cybersecurity services within established KPI's, timelines, and budget constraints.

Requirements

Extensive Cybersecurity Experience, focusing on scalable security services and balancing software development security with IT operations security preferably in IT or SaaS company.
Proven experience with our tech stack (or similar tools): MS Defender XDR ecosystem, MS Sentinel SIEM, Nessus, MS EASM, SonarCloud, HCL AppScan > Burp for AppSec, and cloud-based solutions on AWS and Azure.
Deep understanding of cybersecurity methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Proven track record of driving cybersecurity strategies and initiatives focused on delivering high-quality services on time and within budget.
Experience managing and mentoring teams of individual contributors.
Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (German is a plus)
