Job Profile:

Mortgage Administrator – Remote, Self Employed, Part - Time

 

PRIMIS Mortgage Network are seeking a Part Time experienced Mortgage Administrator to join a well established partner firm (AR) of PRIMIS Mortgage Network’s Mortgage Advisory operation. The firm are a small  mortgage business operating from offices at the business owners home in Stockport, Cheshire.

  

The administrator will be responsible for assisting the advisor, focusing on mortgage and protection business. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate professionalism and be comfortable dealing with lenders and providers.

 

We are ideally looking for a minimum 2 years mortgage administration experience in Mortgage Brokering. We will also consider applicants with Admin experience within financial services but not necessarily in mortgage broking. 

 

The firm pay on a per case basis at a rate of between £100 and £170 per case.

 

This role is remote in the UK

 

Hours are estimated at between 10 and 20 hours per week to suit both the advisor and administrator.

 

The firm have other self employed admin that take overflow and cover holidays - This role though is as a lead admin taking the majority share of cases.

 

The role would suit an existing admin looking for a top up of hours.

  

Responsibilities:

  • Regular liaison with lenders and providers to obtain updates on applicant status
  • Pro-actively progress mortgage and protection applications through to completion
  • Dealing with incoming calls, emails and post
  • Data entry of mortgage & protection applications

Skills & Experience Required:

  • A minimum (ideally) of 2 years mortgage administration experience.
  • Ability to resolve problems quickly & efficiently.
  • Outstanding communication skills at all levels, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrate a confident telephone manner & excellent customer service.
  • A team player with ability to use own initiative.
