We’re searching for a Large Group Benefits Analyst to join our west coast Client Success team and make an immediate impact! This is a remote position but preferred candidates will be based in California or possess current experience owning large (100-5,000 MEL’s) CA employer groups.

🚀 What you’ll do
  • #owntheoutcome: support the strategy development, implementation, and renewals of our California large group (100-5,000 MEL’s) employee benefit programs. Own onboarding of new clients and be responsible for maintaining assigned clients BenAdmin systems, vendor relationships and compliance.
  • #driveprogressthroughaction: regularly interface with clients and vendors, drive marketing and financial reporting to support RFP and renewal requests. Provide benefit enrollment guidance and ongoing member support as needed.
  • #beagreatcopilot: provide strategic and operational support to Client Managers and Partners with servicing client’s by performing both technical and analytical functions on both fully Insured and self-funded clients.
  • #createsuperfans: level up our clients employee benefits experience by operating as a member champion and delivering consistent value in every interaction.

  • 1-5 years of benefits analyst or related experience within a brokerage setting; Recent experience supporting California large employer groups (100-5,000 MEL’s) preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of large group plans, products, and financial structures, including fully insured, level & self-funded, and captives.
  • Proven client service proficiency, showcasing the ability to foster relationships with both internal team members and external vendors.
  • Track record in providing support for benefit enrollment, including tasks such as preparing materials and presentations, verifying policy and plan information, and maintaining accuracy in internal systems.
  • Experience in managing administrative tasks for clients, involving responsibilities such as Form 5500 filings, policy validation and delivery, monthly reporting of client and carrier information, and the creation of summary plan descriptions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analyses, including the development of pricing and employee contribution strategies, modeling plan design alternatives, and calculating reserves.
  • Proficiency in utilizing tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • As a remote-first company, we offer location-agnostic pay based on NYC benchmarks regardless of where someone is located within the U.S. The base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 and is based on individual qualifications and experience.
