Your mission

We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and data analytics. This hands-on role goes beyond maintaining and evolving our AWS-based infrastructure; you'll also play a key part in supporting our expanding data analytics efforts. As we embark on a complete rebuild of our infrastructure and applications from the ground up, you’ll have the opportunity to work on greenfield projects and make a significant impact on shaping the future of our platform.You’ll be responsible for designing and optimising CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, and ensuring the security and scalability of our systems, while also contributing to data analytics workflows using SQL and Python.


Your profile
Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Design, maintain, and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS to support high availability and performance.

  • CI/CD Automation: Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines for infrastructure and applications.

  • Data Analytics Support: Collaborate with business and product to service data analytics requests, ensuring smooth data flows and query optimizations.

  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues to ensure stability.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools like CDK to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and maintain infrastructure compliance with industry standards.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of services and infrastructure, enabling streamlined development processes.

Technical Skills

  • AWS Proficiency: Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, EKS, CloudFront) and hands-on use of Terraform for IaC.

  • Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications.

  • Automation Expertise: Skilled in automating infrastructure tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.

  • SQL & Data Analytics: Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases, and Python for scripting and data-related tasks.

  • CI/CD Pipelines: Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab and Github

  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) for system health and performance metrics.

  • Networking: Experience configuring and maintaining network infrastructure (VPNs, firewalls, VPCs, NAT gateways)

  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively across teams, sharing knowledge and supporting others.

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and service meshes.

  • Exposure to Firebase and BigQuery

  • Experience in the healthcare industry.

Experience

  • Strong experience in servicing data analytics workflows and automating data infrastructure.
