Your missions

Your mission

We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and data analytics. This hands-on role goes beyond maintaining and evolving our AWS-based infrastructure; you'll also play a key part in supporting our expanding data analytics efforts. As we embark on a complete rebuild of our infrastructure and applications from the ground up, youâll have the opportunity to work on greenfield projects and make a significant impact on shaping the future of our platform.Youâll be responsible for designing and optimising CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, and ensuring the security and scalability of our systems, while also contributing to data analytics workflows using SQL and Python.

Your profile

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure:Â Design, maintain, and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS to support high availability and performance.
CI/CD Automation: Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines for infrastructure and applications.
Data Analytics Support:Â Collaborate with business and product to service data analytics requests, ensuring smooth data flows and query optimizations.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:Â Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues to ensure stability.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):Â Use tools like CDK to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
Security & Compliance:Â Implement security best practices and maintain infrastructure compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of services and infrastructure, enabling streamlined development processes.

Technical Skills

AWS Proficiency:Â Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, EKS, CloudFront) and hands-on use of Terraform for IaC.
Containerization:Â Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications.
Automation Expertise:Â Skilled in automating infrastructure tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
SQL & Data Analytics:Â Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases, and Python for scripting and data-related tasks.
CI/CD Pipelines:Â Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab and Github
Monitoring Tools:Â Experience with monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) for system health and performance metrics.
Networking:Â Experience configuring and maintaining network infrastructure (VPNs, firewalls, VPCs, NAT gateways)

Familiarity with microservices architecture and service meshes.
Exposure to Firebase and BigQuery
Experience in the healthcare industry.

Experience

Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles, with a focus on AWS.
Strong experience in servicing data analytics workflows and automating data infrastructure.
