SCADA Engineer

  • Ignition SCADA Software
    
  • Extensive experience with Ignition Reporting tools, including report design, generation, and distribution.
    
  • Proficient in Ignition Vision and Perspective modules, with hands-on experience in designing and deploying HMI and SCADA applications.
    
  • Ignition Core Certified professional, ensuring a strong foundation in Ignition fundamentals and advanced functionalities.
    
  • Python Scripting
    
  • Proficient in Python scripting for automating tasks, developing custom logic, and integrating various systems within Ignition.
    
  • Experienced in using Python for data manipulation, API integrations, and implementing complex business logic in industrial environments.
    
  • Database Management & SQL
    
  • Strong SQL query skills with experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance.
    
  • Experienced with MSSQL and MySQL databases, including database design, maintenance, and data retrieval for reporting and analysis.
    
  • Industrial Communication Protocols
    
  • In-depth knowledge of OPC (UA/DA) for real-time data exchange between control systems and SCADA.
    
  • Familiar with Modbus and Ethernet/IP protocols for communicating with PLCs, RTUs, and other industrial devices.

• Automation Solutions: Experienced in deploying automation solutions across various industries, ensuring efficient and reliable system performance.
  

Certifications

• Ignition Core Certification: Demonstrates a solid understanding of the Ignition platform, including configuration, scripting, and project development.
  

Professional Experience

• Industrial Automation Projects: Successfully executed multiple projects involving the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems using Ignition.
  
• Database Management: Managed and optimized industrial databases, ensuring data integrity and performance in high-demand environments.
  

Additional Skills

• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Strong problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing and resolving issues in SCADA systems, communication protocols, and database queries.
  
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating with engineers, IT professionals, and management to deliver successful projects.
