Diebold Nixdorf’s Global Audit and Enterprise Risk department has an opening for a Senior Auditor of Global IT Audit with an opportunity to work remotely in the US. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic global team focused on value creation and continuous improvement. Our mission is to enhance operational excellence and protect organizational value by providing (1) advice and insight as a trusted advisor to the organization; and (2) independent, objective assurance on the company’s risk management, control activities and financial reporting integrity. As the Senior Auditor, Global IT Audit you will have responsibility to plan and execute the IT audit plan and IT control testing under the direction of the Manager, Global IT Audit, based in the US remotely.
Responsibilities
Executes audit activities in pursuit of achieving Global Audit’s strategic and operational objectives. Works collaboratively with team members, external resources, and internal stakeholders.
Executes a broad range of IT audit activities, including cross-organizational risk assessments; annual audit plans; and providing assurance, recommendations, and practical solutions to help business unit leaders accomplish the company’s key strategic objectives.
Designs and leads audit activities and understands the specific issues to be evaluated.
Reviews formal written reports for each audit as directed by IT Audit Management
Ensures consistent implementation of Global Audit department policies.
Proactively recommends system and control improvements to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and risk management.
Ability to investigate and assess root cause of audit issues.
Performs trend analysis on audit issues; synthesizes findings to focus on the ‘so what’ for management reporting.
Identifies and reports on audit issues to senior management.
Investigates anomalies or open items from start to finish.
Provides oversight and mentorship to staff auditors in the planning and execution of audit assignments.
Monitors changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of audit-related experience e.g. internal, external, forensic, etc
Experience testing IT application and general controls for SOX Compliance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 2 years supervising staff (Team Leader, Mentoring, etc.)
Must have prior experience working in a remote position
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, IT/IS or other Business degree, preferred
Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP system
Experience auditing cloud environments, preferred
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other related certification, preferred but not required
Salary Range: $85,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including your qualifications, skills, competencies, geographic location, internal equity, and relevant experience.
