Head of Employee Engagement and Internal Communications

As Head of Employee Engagement and Internal Communications, you'll play a vital role in shaping our company's identity and driving employee satisfaction. You'll be responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies that promote open communication, enhance the employee experience, and align our people with our mission and values.


What you’ll be doing:


Employee Engagement:

  • Design and execute engaging employee events and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular employee surveys to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Drive initiatives related to wellbeing, DEI, and employee recognition.
  • Transforming our internal comms channels into must-read destinations, buzzing with news, stories, and employee voices.
  • Developing programs that embed our values, behaviours, and EVP into the DNA of our culture.

Internal Communications:

  • Develop and maintain an effective internal communication strategy.
  • Create compelling content that engages our employees.
  • Manage our internal communication platforms (Group Teams and SharePoint Hubs).
  • Coordinate and facilitate town hall meetings and other internal events.

Change Management:

  • Develop and implement change management plans to ensure a smooth transition during organisational changes.
  • Communicate changes effectively to employees to minimise resistance.

Crisis Communication:

  • Develop and maintain crisis communication plans to ensure timely and transparent communication during emergencies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees during crises.
  • Guiding us through change with transparency, clarity, and a healthy dose of fun.

  • Proven experience in employee engagement, internal communications, or related roles in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess engagement metrics and make data-driven decisions to constantly improve our employee experience.
  • Change management and crisis communication experience.
  • Proven track record in engagement and culture initiatives, you are creative and passionate about driving engagement and community.
  • Project management skills that juggle multiple initiatives like a pro.
  • Communication skills that have influence.
