U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Mainframe Application Development Engineer (multiple positions) in Portland, OR.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design solutions for account card management systems on Mainframe using development tools, code comparison software, source code version management tools, and project management tools.
  • Analyze and identify root cause of failures in Integrated Card Systems on Mainframe and design solutions.
  • Execute monthly address standardization process on Mainframe for all card holders using address standardization software and job scheduling/workflow automation.
  • Perform database change and maintenance designs for Integrated Card database systems.
  • Provide production support for account card management systems on Mainframe using ITIL based ticketing tool and access management tool.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, followed by 5 years of experience as a Computer Systems Engineer/Architect or in a related occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience must include 5 years of experience with each of the following: (1) Production and application support in Mainframe. (2) COBOL, JCL, DB2, CA7, Sort, SQL, VSAM, IDCAMS, FTP, UCANDU, FOCUS, SAS, Assembler, IMS DB, and CICS.

Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $158,309.00 - $174,139.90. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
