Overview:

Lifeway Event Experience is looking for an experienced Event Coordinator to oversee and manage live, destination, and digital events. This role involves coordinating all aspects of event planning and implementation, including administrative tasks, travel arrangements, logistics, inventory management, printing, production schedules, grassroots support, and communication.

 

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Event coordination experience is essential, and candidates should be prepared for up to 60 travel days per year.

This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote 

 

 

 

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains all aspects of project management for multiple events
  • Coordinates and books all logistic elements (i.e. travel, hotels, transportation, meals, etc.)
  • Monitors registration, grassroots efforts, marketing messages, and social media exposure
  • Works with multiple internal and external teams to execute all phases of planning live, destination, and/or digital events
  • Prepares and oversees customer-facing information and monitors website and email updates
  • Develops and maintains event budgets
  • Manages multiple onsite teams including event team, platform, volunteers, production, venue, etc.
  • Contributes to multiple projects that affect the ongoing work of the event team
Qualifications:

Education

Bachelors degree, preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities, required

  • 3 years event planning and execution
  • Comprehensive event experience encompassing all facets of customer service, vendor liaising, travel coordination, on-site management, etc
  • Strong skills 
  • Highly organized
  • Strong skills in MS Office and Google Suites, Concur and similar event oriented platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Active participation in an evangelical Christian church

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities, preferred

  • Knowledge/experience in digital events
  • Knowledge/experience in destination events
