The Role
As a Solutions Engineer at SpryPoint, you will play a pivotal role in helping utilities achieve their goals through the demonstration of selected SaaS solutions. You will work closely with our sales and technical teams to understand customer needs, provide technical expertise, design, and demonstrate tailored solutions that address the unique needs of specific utilities. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering innovative solutions in the utilities sector.
What you'll be doing:Develop a deep understanding of SpryPoint's suite of SaaS solutions, including SpryCIS, SpryEngage, SpryMobile and more.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to utilitiesCollaborate with the sales team to engage prospects, gather requirements, and assess their specific needsDesign and present configured solutions that align with customer objectives and optimize their operationsSupport technical proposals, system architecture diagrams, and requirementsConduct technical product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our SaaS solutionsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication, responsiveness, and technical supportServe as a trusted technical advisor, offering guidance and assistance throughout the sales cycleCollaborate with customers to identify pain points and recommend effective solutionsCollaborate with the technical support team to assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex customer issuesProvide guidance on software configuration, data migration, and system integrationPartner with field sales representatives in various geo/territoriesSupport attendance to all field marketing events to include conferences, our National Users Conference and regional trade shows.What you bring to the table:5+ years of prior SaaS SE experience in vertical markets, with a preference for exposure to utilities and local governmentKnowledge of utility software focused on Customer Information Systems, Customer Self-Service, Mobile Field Service, Work Orders, Asset Management and CMMSUnderstanding of other core utility software including ERP, SCADA, OMS, AMI, MDM, etc.An understanding of utility operations including - electric, water, wastewater, gas, broadband, and sanitation services is a plusWhy SpryPoint?
